About the Artist:
Claire Sinclair began as a watercolourist in Manchester, England depicting the “Lancashire” scene of backyards, rooftops and chimneys. She has exhibited alongside the famous Lancashire artist L.S. Lowry in major Manchester, Salford and Stockport galleries. Sinclair immigrated to Canada as a commercial artist and designer where her paintings have been exhibited in major galleries in Hamilton, Montreal, Oakville and Toronto. Sinclair changed her medium from watercolour to acrylic which she used to explore scenes from “Pioneer Life”; mainly interiors, with people at their trade or work. In this series she celebrates the coming millennium by recording the past and the people whose efforts pave the way for us today.
In this rare opportunity, originals of the series are offered below individually at a very low starting bid of $300.00 (unframed Giclee Reproductions on canvas 24" x 20" of this series were listed at $450.90).
